We would like to offer you the opportunity to direct your donation to your favorite program. Whether you would like to support free lunches or clothing to the homeless, community garden access or free professional arts experiences for those who normally can't participate in them, we want you to be able to choose where you direct your funds. You are also able to support the renovation of our historic landmark building as we work to make it safer and accessible to all. Thank you!
ITEMS WE REGULARLY NEED
- Food for sack lunches - meats, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, sweets, salty snacks
- Other items for lunches - water, other drinks, bags, cleaning supplies, gloves, masks, rosaries, Bibles
- Emergency clothing - mostly for men, no children's, nothing too fancy, jeans or pants size 32-36, XL tops of all kinds
- Men's shoes sizes 10-13
- Blankets, towels, and backpacks
- Toiletries - travel sizes, not bundled, any but basics are shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant
- Cleaning products, laundry detergent, and toilet paper to distribute
- Water and other healthy non-alcoholic beverages for volunteers, daily use in the yard and at free public events
- Coffee and supplies for Hope of the Poor who serve almost daily in the yard
We would love to create a permanent sustainable solution to the basic human need for water in our neighborhood by building a water fountain in our yard.
